Our NP & Clinic Founder

Our Nurse Practitioner (NP) , Fethi Boudebza, has over 20 years of experience in mental health. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of specialized settings, providing care to individuals with mood disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, intellectual disabilities, as well as in forensic psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Fethi Boudebza began his career in physical health at the Jewish General Hospital, followed by community health practice at the Côte-des-Neiges CLSC. He later developed advanced expertise in mental health, notably at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and the Philippe-Pinel National Institute of Forensic Psychiatry. He also practiced frontline psychiatry at the Simonne-Monet-Chartrand CLSC, working with both youth and adult populations.

 

In addition to his clinical work, he has contributed to education and training, including collaborations with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

 

His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Université de Montréal (2002), a Master of Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa (2019), and a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Nursing Practice (Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) from McGill University (2023).

 

Committed to advancing the nursing profession, he has been involved with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) as a member of the professional exam development committee and as a lead examiner. He also contributed to the OIIQ Professional Exam Preparation Guide (2016, 2018) and has published several clinical articles in mental health and pharmacovigilance.

 

He is licensed to practice in Quebec, Ontario, and Minnesota.

Our Clinic’s Nurse

Our nurse, Lucie Bourassa, initially began her career in physical care, specifically at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) as well as in Lausanne, Switzerland. Since returning to Montréal, she has focused her career on the field of mental health, having worked for several years to date at the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal.
